Launched in 1997, Thrombus is a review journal devoted to thrombosis, anticoagulation and clotting disorders.
The journal contains a blend of editorial and articles of particular interest to GPs, nurses and specialists involved in the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and atrial fibrillation (AF).
Thrombus is highly rated in reader surveys by both primary and secondary care practitioners for the quality of its content and its relevance to today’s clinical practice.
The journal also has long-standing relationships with the Anticoagulation in Practice Society, the National Centre for Anticoagulation Training and the Clinical Leaders of Thrombosis group, sharing their goal of improving anticoagulation management.

Thrombus is funded by an unrestricted educational grant from Bayer with no editorial input to the contents of this journal.
